- Nano Fertilizers — slow-release nutrients; reduce waste and environmental pollution; IFFCO Nano Urea (India’s first nano-fertilizer, 2021)
- Nano Pesticides — targeted delivery; reduce chemical use; less environmental impact
- Nano Remediation — nanoparticles clean up contaminated soil and groundwater (iron nanoparticles break down pollutants)

⚗️ IFFCO Nano Urea — India’s Achievement
- Developed by IFFCO (Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative)
- India’s first nano-fertilizer; approved for commercial use in 2021
- A 500 ml bottle of Nano Urea can replace one 45 kg bag of conventional urea
- Applied as foliar spray (on leaves) — not soil application
- Increases nutrient use efficiency; reduces soil and water pollution
- Reduces India’s dependence on urea imports
