Andhra Pradesh Cabinet has approved the Dagadarthi Greenfield Airport project in Nellore district. It will become the 8th airport in the State, enhancing regional connectivity and logistics infrastructure.

A greenfield airport is built from scratch on undeveloped land.
- Location: Dagadarthi, Nellore district, Andhra Pradesh.
- Type: Greenfield Airport (newly constructed airport).
- Phase-1 Capacity: 1.40 million passengers per annum (MPPA)
- Objective: Strengthen connectivity and support industrial growth
