TOPIC 02 — Socialistic DPSPs

Topic 02 of 5 · Chapter 06 · Indian Polity

Socialistic DPSPs (Articles 38–43A)

All socialistic directives — equal pay, maternity relief, living wage, workers’ participation, and welfare state provisions.

1. What are Socialistic DPSPs?

Socialistic DPSPs aim at establishing a welfare state by reducing inequality, ensuring social security, and protecting workers’ rights. They reflect the socialist ideals of the Constitution.

⭐ Note: These DPSPs are inspired by socialist ideology — they aim to reduce economic inequality and ensure that the benefits of development reach all sections of society, especially the weaker sections.
