Indian Navy has unveiled INS Krishna, the first indigenous Cadet Training Ship (CTS).

  • Designed and built by Larsen & Toubro (L&T).
  • Launched at Kattupalli Shipyard, Chennai.
  • Purpose: To act as a “floating classroom” for naval cadets.
  • Part of India’s push for: Indigenisation in defence manufacturing
